The Palacio de Cristal is a cast iron and glass structure located in Madrid’s Retiro Park. It was built in 1887 on the occasion of the General Exposition of the Philippine Islands, and is an outstanding example of glass and iron architecture in Madrid. It is currently one of the headquarters of the Reina Sofía Museum.
